Dr. Ken Tudor is a recognized leader in the field of pet nutrition and fitness. He co-founded a national campaign to help fight dog obesity, developed a pet weight management program, and served on an American Animal Hospital Association task force to develop weight management guidelines for dogs and cats.
He is a member of American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition, American Veterinary Medical Association, European Society of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition, American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, and Southern California Veterinary Medical Association. He has had research published in Veterinary Medicine, Journal of the American Animal Hospital Association and Feline Medicine journals. He also contributed to the “Daily Vet” blog at PetMD.
Dr. Tudor developed Hearthstone Homemade, an integrated homemade dog food nutrition program, after his son’s dog nearly died from eating commercial dog food. Drawing on more than 30 years of his pet nutrition experience, he created, tested, honed and finally released two nutrient powders and nearly 200 recipes (cooked or raw) designed to ensure maximum nutrition and health for dogs.
The Hearthstone Homemade program — a combination of carefully formulated, easy-to-make recipes and convenient, balanced nutrient supplements — turns “homemade food” into a complete and fortified diet that exceeds the quality and nutrition in both commercial food and other homemade alternatives.
Dr. Tudor feels strongly that superior nutrition promotes maximum health, vitality and longevity — and the dog owners whose cherished pets have been transformed by the Hearthstone Homemade program agree.
